A very special MA-1 bomber jacket featuring the now-iconic "Messiah" print designed by artist Benoit Barnay. The jacket presents the classical "Flight" bomber cut, with elongated slim arms stacking up and an extended body, often seen on Rick Owens himself. The piece is made of a 52% cotton and 48% nylon blend, lightweight and structured. Features a full length front zipper closure, arm pocket detail, open pockets each side, and ribbed hems.
The embroidered graphic featured is a design made by Benoit Barnay, skater, independent artist and above all, former Rick Owens model. He made this drawing in tribute to Rick Owens and Michele Lamy a few years before the Faun collection, as a gesture to thank Rick Owens and Michèle Lamy for having him during a hard time of his life. The Spring 2015 collection is therefore based around this man, Benoit Barnay.
All embroideries on the jacket are made by hand.
