Splendid jacket made of a thick textured wool blend fabric with a subtle shine. Features an integrated waistcoat going under the chest with three multicoloured flower buttons, intricate small details. The pattern is one tone darker and goes throughout the jacket. It's called Damask and originates from China around 300 BC, it was usually used for aristocratic court dresses in Europe since the Medieval ages. Long sharp patterned lapels. Curved edges opening at the chest showing more cleavage and closing at the waist. Back and front darts creating a superb hourglass silhouette. Signature Vivienne Westwood's portait with British flag are sewn inside the jacket. Pearly pink silky lining.
Overall, an incredible piece that showcases Vivienne's craftsmanship and interest in the history of costume, reinterpreting classic feminine silhouettes in a modern way.
