(Kountry Club) A.F VANDEVORST - FW98-99 Joseph Beuys "Felt Suit, 1970" reworked jacket with outer seams (first collection)

Incredible jacket made of a thin textured wool blend, which is an almost exact copy of the jacket from the art piece "Felt Suit" (1970) by Joseph Beuys, german artist who was one of the biggest inspirations for An Vandevorst and Filip Arickx. Single breasted cut with notch lapels, hidden velcro closure, structural darts, a flap pocket each side and a chest pocket. The brand's version features outer seam details and raw cut fraying edges, it is also less oversized as the art work, more as adapted for womenswear. Signature red cross at the back.
